Longing for perfection

Evert van Straaten was director of the Kröller-Müller Museum from 1990 to 2012. In this book he evaluates the museum’s collection management policy during that period. He discusses the artworks that were purchased while he was at the helm including the methods and reasoning behind his decisions. This book comes with a DVD featuring images of all the 1951 artworks acquired since 1991.
