Painter, sculptor, constructor R.W. van de Wint

This catalogue was published to accompany the exhibition called R.W. van de Wint. Clair obscur. Seven sculptures in 2002 in the Kröller-Müller Museum. The work of Rudi van de Wint (1942-2006) focuses on how a work of art interacts with the space around it. This beautifully designed publication portrays the evolution of his oeuvre based on a wide selection of his drawings, pastels, gouaches, paintings, models, large-scale sculptures and constructions. A separate chapter is devoted to De Wint’s 'total work of art' in the De Nollen dunes, an area to which the artist retreated in 1980.
