Van Gogh & co

The Kröller-Müller Museum houses the world’s second-largest collection of Vincent van Gogh’s work. In Van Gogh Year 2015, the museum held the exhibition called Van Gogh & co from its own collection. Based on the theme of '125 years of inspiration' this catalogue presents not only works of the master himself but also paintings by a number of his forerunners, inspirational peers and successors, including Millet, Gauguin, Manet, Signac, Israëls, Toorop and Van der Leck. Vincent himself is featured in his own words through excerpts from his letters.
