This Chinese teapot is designed by the Dutch Artist Joost van den Toorn. For this 'one-person-teapot/teacup, with lid', Van den Toorn drew inspiration by antique Chinese bronze earthenware. The teapot is painted with a representation of skulls. The teapot has been made by Mr. Liu, head of the Sculpture Factory in Jingdezhen, a city well-known for its production of porcelain in China under supervision the Dutch ceramist Norman Trapman.
