Chinese artwork by Dutch artist
This Chinese teapot is designed by the Dutch Artist Joost van den Toorn. For this '
one-person-teapot/teacup, with lid', Van den Toorn drew inspiration by antique Chinese bronze earthenware. The teapot is painted with a representation of skulls. The cartoonish design is characteristic in
more works by Joost van den Toorn. The teapot has been made by Mr. Liu, head of the Sculpture Factory in Jingdezhen, a city well-known for its production of porcelain in China under supervision the Dutch ceramist Norman Trapman.
